2019 IRS Mileage Allowance

The IRS has announced the new standard mileage rates for 2019. The standard mileage rate will increase to 58 ¢ per mile for business miles driven beginning January 1, 2019, up from 54.5¢ in 2018.
Additionally, the 2019 mileage rate for medical or moving purposes increased to 20¢ per mile, up from 18¢ in 2018.
The mileage rate for driving an automobile for charitable purposes during 2019 will remain unchanged at 14¢.
