Primary responsibility for appropriate oversight of sponsored projects rests with the Principal Investigator and sometimes with other senior research personnel. To ensure continued sound management, Duke University requires Principal Investigators, Project Leaders, Core Leaders, Projects Directors, co-Principal Investigators and PI Fellows to complete a continuing education module and to pass the assessment attached to the presentation slides.
