Recertification/Renewal of the Procure to Pay Specialist Certification
Certification in the FCP is valid for one year. Certification will be renewable by participation in a general session designed to ensure that certified individuals across Duke remain aware of recent changes in the relevant subject matter. Certification will be revoked if a participant does not maintain appropriate renewal credits on an annual basis.
The Procure to Pay Specialist is renewable by attending at least one of the two semi-annual Accounts Payable updates and the annual Budget Management at Fiscal Year-End Update. The semi-annual Accounts Payable update focuses on changes in policy/procedures, recurring issues/problems, reminders for representatives, and case study analysis. Separate update sessions are conducted for the University/School of Medicine and Duke University Health System.
