What is ECRT?
Effort Certification and Reporting Technology (ECRT) is Duke University's, non-SAP, web-based real-time effort reporting system, accessible through Duke@Work.
Duke University employs the ECRT system to facilitate the institution's compliance with Federal effort reporting and certification requirements. The functionality of ECRT conforms to the provisions of the University’s effort reporting policies (GAP 200.170), Federal regulations in the “Uniform Guidance” (2 CFR 200.430), and other Sponsor's policies that govern the need to provide certification of an individual's 100% effort. The ECRT system uses a guided process to walk both the individual Certifier and each unit’s Effort Coordinator through the steps to complete the Certifier's Effort Certification statement(s).
