At Duke, the APIResource Group enters new hire.

At DRH and DRAH, the HR department enters new hires 2 weeks prior to hire date, provided a Unique ID is available.

About 2 weeks after the hire date, the SAP HR download will update the information of the new hire.

If unit specific agency personnel - a position can be added for that specific department for long term or short term assignments, however: scheduling is still done by the employee through IOP.
