2011 Advanced Grant Management Certificate Program Pilot Applications

RCC announces the opening of the application period for the pilot of the Advanced Grant Management Certificate program (AGM).  AGM is designed to provide training in advanced topics most commonly associated with more complex grant management functions.

To clarify the eligibility requirement that was previously stated in the February 2011 Grant Managers Community Newsletter: AGM has been developed specifically for grant managers and other interested individuals with greater than 3 years experience in grant management and greater than 60% grant management job duties.

RCC is seeking to develop a broad base of interested individuals who will serve as the pilot group for this new certificate.  Therefore, we ask that only individuals who are willing to provide extensive feedback throughout the program apply.  Once the pilot is completed, all interested applicants can apply, and we encourage supervisors to consider referring individuals for AGM who may benefit from these classes.

The application process for the pilot Advanced Grant Management program begins today and all application forms must be received by 5:00 p.m. on March 25, 2011. Applicants accepted into the pilot program will be notified by March 31, 2011.

Please Note:

  1. Space is limited to 25 participants.
  2. All applicable pre-requisite classes must be completed prior to an applicant being accepted in the program. Exceptions may be made if the applicant provides documentation of enrollment/completion of a pre-requisite prior to the program Orientation.
  3. The Participant/Supervisor contract must be signed and returned before a participant can be confirmed.
  4. Program Orientation will be held on April 7, 2011.

Please send completed application forms to the RCC email account at rcc-cert at duke.edu.
