Wendy Morris

Chief of Staff

Wendy Morris became chief of staff for Duke Finance in May 2026. In this role, she serves as a strategic advisor to the Vice President for Finance and University Treasurer, helping to advance key divisional priorities, lead special initiatives, and coordinate operations across the Finance organization. 

Ms. Morris has more than 36 years of experience at Duke University and Duke Health, including roles supporting executive leadership in finance, human resources, and clinical operations. Her background includes project management, board governance support, organizational administration, and strategic planning, providing her with a deep understanding of the university's operations and mission.
