Chief Supply Chain Officer
Steve Bodily serves as Chief Supply Chain Officer for Duke University and Duke University Health System. He reports jointly to Rachel Satterfield, Vice President for Finance and Treasurer for Duke University, and Lisa Goodlett, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Duke University Health System.
In this role, Bodily leads the strategic and operational aspects of supply chain and procurement across Duke. His responsibilities include strategic sourcing, contracting, procurement, supply chain operations, clinical integration, analytics and supplier management. He is focused on advancing an enterprise-wide supply chain strategy that supports Duke’s academic, research and healthcare missions while improving value, service and operational performance.
Prior to joining Duke, Bodily served as Chief Supply Chain Officer at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he led an enterprise-wide supply chain transformation supporting approximately $5 billion in annual spend. His previous leadership roles include positions with Bon Secours Mercy Health and Tenet Healthcare.
