Associate Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis
Meghan Stark became Duke's Associate Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis in Aguust 2022. In this role, Ms. Stark is working to build a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function for the University, focused initially on creating long-range financial models for Duke's schools and units. The FP&A function also works collaboratively across the University to support high-level strategic and financial planning initiatives, special projects of interest to senior University and school/unit leadership and helps to advise the Board of Trustees on the full ragne of financial strategy-related matters.
Prior to joining Duke, Ms. Stark spent eleven years at Johns Hopkins University in progressive leadership roles, finishing her tenure as Associate Vice President for Planning and Budget, where she led the development of JHU's annual budget and five-year plan, as well as a ten-year university financial projection model. She aslo managed a team of analysts focused on strategic financial projects that were key priorities for the President, Provost and Board of Trustees. Before Hopkins, Ms. Stark spent six years at Harvard in their Office of Financial Strategy and Planning.
Ms. Stark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Duke University and Master in Public Policy from Harvard University.
