2012 IRS Mileage Allowance
The IRS has announced the standard mileage rates for 2012. The standard mileage rate remains unchanged at 55.5¢ per mile for business miles driven.
Additionally, the 2012 mileage rate for using a car to get medical care or mileage incurred in connection with a move that qualifies under the moving expense deduction is 23¢ per mile.
The mileage rate for driving an auto for charitable purposes during 2012 remains unchanged at 14¢.
