REMINDER: Evaluations Required as of July 1, 2017
Effective July 1, 2017 (the start of the new fiscal year), evaluations must be completed to receive continuing education credit for attending a training/class. After attending a class or training, please check the LMS for any training/class requirements, such as a quiz and/or evaluation, to make sure you complete what is required for earning continuing education credit. The Learning Assignments tab for the training/class will include links to the quiz, evaluation, and any other items you need to complete. Each will state if it is “Required” or “Optional.”
REMINDER: Continuing Education Credit Changes as of July 1, 2017
Effective July 1, 2017 (Fiscal Year 2018), RCC continuing education credits will be measured on an hourly basis to equal the number of hours in length of the class/training. With this change, certified individuals will be required to complete 15 hours of continuing education each fiscal year to maintain certifications. For example, a 3-hour class will provide 3 continuing education credits upon successful completion of the evaluation and/or quiz. Further continuing education information will be made available in the coming weeks.
