Online Accounts Payable Check Request Enhancements

March 10, 2015

We are pleased to announce several enhancements to the Electronic Accounts Payable check request process. These changes will go live on Friday, March 13th, 2015.

Action buttons that currently display only at the top of the screen have been added to the bottom of the screen. Users will no longer need to scroll to the top of the form to check, save, submit, or approve the check requests.

When viewing check requests from the Check Request Utility, users can click on the hyperlink in the “State Descriptions” column to view the workflow recipients and current workflow status.

A warning message will display when a check request is submitted with an entry in one of the taxpayer ID fields and a sensitive document is not attached. This will help minimize check request delays due to missing documentation. The warning message will display as “Sensitive doc usually attached when taxpayer ID is entered.”

The box next to “Send Submitter E-mail Upon Completion” will be checked automatically, when the check request is created. If a Submitter does not wish to receive notification when the request is complete, he/she will need to uncheck this box.
