Changing/ Maintaining Master Data

Many aspects of the projects are to be maintained by various users. However Accounting System Administration must maintain Master Data. Master Data is made up of the following items:

  • Project Code
  • Project Name
  • BFR Code
  • Start Date
  • Finish Date
  • Responsible Person
  • Applicant
  • Company Code
  • Profit Center
  • Project Type
  • Responsible Cost Center

Any changes to these fields should be e-mailed to AcctgSysAdmin at duke.edu. A form is not necessary. Simply send an e-mail notifying Accounting System Administration of the changes.

All fields of the Master Data can be input using all capital letters. It is only the Customer Defined fields that print on the Board Report and therefore have to be input using lower case letters and appropriate capitalization.
